I've been using this moisturizer religiously for about five years now, but I've known about and have purchased this moisturizer as far back as 2015. Before AloeMoist even sold on Amazon, I would go to their website and buy three 8 oz jars at a time to use only on my face. I've always had acne ever since I hit puberty, and this cream was sufficient for a time. It was light, odorless, and good to put on after washing my face, even with naturally dry skin.And then I went on Accutane in 2020. It did not cut it anymore. If you know anything about Accutane, you know that it dries you out. I would get eczema patches on my face and this moisturizer didn't help at all. I would have to turn to oils and petroleum jelly to keep my face moisturized - this moisturizer first, any secondary oils or jellies after. I'm on a topical retinol now, a year after I finished my Accutane treatment. The retinol dries my face out as well. And again, I have to depend on secondary products if I want to keep my face from flaking throughout the day.I've been thinking about switching moisturizers for months because I simply can't take it anymore. I don't enjoy this moisturizer at all. I'll put on a thick, visible layer and rub it into my skin twice a day after I wash my face. It leaves my skin very shiny after application and sometimes it feels like a gamble if it'll even leave me feeling moisturized. Have you ever had skin so dry it feels tight? Well, twenty minutes before I wrote this review, I got out of the shower and applied this moisturizer to my face like I usually do. And not even five minutes later, my face was tight, like I hadn't even applied any moisturizer at all! I had to apply ANOTHER thick layer, and although it admittedly feels better, I just have to wonder why one thick application wasn't enough.For the price point, you expect something moisturizing, especially if the product is marketed toward people with eczema. I tried the CeraVe moisturizing cream and was surprised by how moisturizing and nourishing it felt on my skin. CeraVe's moisturizing cream, mind you, is 18 dollars for a 19 oz jar. DOUBLE the product for almost HALF the price!My advice is: Do what is right for your skin. If this product works for you, I'm so happy. But as a longtime customer, this product does not work for me, and I will no longer be purchasing it.I shared this with my daughter and now she uses it every day. Loving it because it is scent free absorbs quickly. No sticky residue feeling like regular lotions. Great for face and body. Super happy with it and plan to try their other products.Okthis cream is soft, it doesn't burn like the others, and my husband's psoriasis is clearing up and looks soft, in the meantime it is the best cream we have tried . ?????????????I use it sparingly as a base under my liquid face makeup and other parts of my body that are extremely dry. Wish price was lower so I could use more frequentlya must haveUse this- your skin will thank you for it!!!I love this stuff. Absolutely love it. As I’ve gotten older my skin has gotten much more sensitive. Products with low quality ingredients, chemicals, fragrance, and chemical SPF makes me red and bumpy almost immediately. I’ve been trying to find something that is natural, affordable and scent free for quite a while. This cream answered my prayers. It is very high quality, has absolutely no smell, and absorbs quickly without leaving your face oily. I’m obsessed with using it all over my body. And after you use it- so will you.After just a few days my skin looked so much better. It was smoother, more subtle, and just has a flow I hadn’t seen since I had developed so many sensitivities. And I’m not surprised because a cream like this will actually nourish your skin because the ingredients are good for you- as opposed to running a bunch of processed gunk all over yourself and wondering why your skin looks bad.Great job Aloe Moist!
